"Kiev has the right to destroy everything that is in the occupied Crimea," Podolyak

"Kyiv has the legal right to destroy everything in the occupied Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia regions," this is how Podolyak, the adviser to the chief of staff of the President of Ukraine, commented on the article in The Washington Post, according to which the armed forces of Ukraine were preparing to strike Moscow on February 24, 2023, the anniversary of the large-scale Russian invasion. According to the leak from the Pentagon, the central intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine agreed to change those plans at the request of the United States.

"We have other priority goals, what international law guarantees us. We have the legal right to destroy everything in the territory of Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions. There are no legal claims against us," said Podolyak.
