Foxconn to build iPhone factory in India

The Bloomberg agency reported that the Taiwanese company "Foxconn," a partner of Apple Corporation, has decided to build a factory to produce components for iPhone smartphones in Bangalore (Karnataka, India).

The construction of the plant, according to Bloomberg, is part of a strategy by American technology corporations to shift production from China to neighboring countries, primarily Vietnam and India, due to the geopolitical situation and the disruption of supply chains due to epidemic restrictions in China.
