The MPs met with the chairman of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee in Washington
On May 1, the members of the Armenia-US friendship group of the RA NA: the leader of the friendship group, the head of the NA "Civil Pact" faction Hayk Konjoryan, the chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly Sargis Khandanyan, the chairman of the Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan, the standing committee on Finance, Credit, and Budgetary Affairs Committee Chairman Tsovinar Vardanyan, National Assembly Deputy Arsen Torosyan, and RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the USA Lilit Makunts met Senator Ben Cardin, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations of the US Senate, in Washington.
In Washington, Armenian MPs presented the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and regional developments.
The "Crossroads of Peace" project was discussed at the meeting as the most critical component of establishing peace in the region.
Senator Cardin expressed his support for Armenia's sovereignty and democracy and his willingness to deepen Armenia-US relations further.
