The Hague court issued an arrest warrant for Vladimir Putin; BBC:

BBC reports that the Hague International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The court claims he is responsible for war crimes, including the illegal deportation of children from Ukraine to Russia.

"The crimes have been committed in Ukraine since at least February 24, 2022, when Russia began its full-scale invasion. "Moscow denies allegations of war crimes during the invasion," the BBC reports.

The court also reported that the Russian leader did not exercise his right to deport children by others.

The Russian Commissioner for Children's Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, is also wanted by the court.

"Despite the order regarding Mr. Putin and Ms. Lvova-Belova, the court does not have the authority to arrest the suspects and can only exercise jurisdiction in countries that have signed the agreement establishing the court. Russia does not recognize the International Criminal Court and its jurisdiction," the source informs.
