The peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan guarantees peace in the South Caucasus. Cavusoglu

"The special representatives had four meetings. We are talking about the gradual regulation of relations. After Azerbaijan's victory, Turkey developed a long-term peace plan in the South Caucasus. Steps in this direction continue. We are talking about the restoration of air communication with Armenia and so on. Certain efforts have been made in the field of trade," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu live on the Turkish Haber Global TV channel.

At the same time, he called subjective the attempts to perceive the dialogue between Ankara and Yerevan as isolated from the contacts between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

"The key to long-term peace in the South Caucasus is a comprehensive peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Baku announced its initiatives, to which Yerevan did not respond. A joint committee was established to start the work. We are talking about the Zangezur corridor. However, Armenia is concerned about this. Yerevan should decide whether it wants peace," Cavusoglu added.

At the same time, he emphasized that after two years, the Armenian troops had not left the territory of Azerbaijan. "The insincerity of Armenia in the settlement process is obvious to everyone. Yerevan should know that Ankara has no hidden plans from Baku. We are for peace."
