"There are countries in the West that want to continue the war in Ukraine." Cavusoglu

Commenting on the situation in Ukraine on the "Haber Global" TV channel, Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu noted that the ceasefire agreement should ensure that country's integrity.

"After the last round of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia in Istanbul, we had high hopes for the rapprochement of the parties positions. But videos and photos came from Bucha, and the atmosphere changed. The dialogue was interrupted. In my opinion, this has become a turning point," Cavusoglu said. According to him, it is essential to reach an agreement on the ceasefire aimed at the territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders of Ukraine.

"Turkey is one of the countries that most actively defend Kyiv's position regarding both Crimea and Russian attacks," Çavuşoğlu said.

At the same time, he noted that some countries in the West want to continue the war in Ukraine. "We are talking about NATO member countries, not only the USA. Some forces tried to destroy the grain agreements," Cavusoglu said.
