Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
According to the office of the President of Turkey, the parties discussed the latest developments in Russia.
It is noted that the de-escalation of the situation in Russia has prevented irreversible humanitarian disasters in the "Ukrainian field."
Erdogan expressed hope that the recent events in Russia will become a new milestone to a just peace in Ukraine.
During the negotiations, Sweden's membership in NATO was also touched upon.
