Iran has imposed sanctions on European politicians and companies

On the evening of Monday, December 12, the authorities of Iran announced the application of sanctions against 32 European politicians, companies, and institutions. Among them is German Minister of State for Culture and Media Claudia Roth and former German Defense Minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer.

Also on Tehran's sanctions list are British Chief of Defense Staff Anthony Radakin, British counter-intelligence chief Ken McCallum, French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo, and Radio Free Europe/Liberty's Persian editorial office.
