Ambassadors of EU countries have agreed on the 8th package of sanctions against Moscow

The representative office of the Czech Republic, which currently holds the EU presidency, announced on the Twitter microblog that the permanent representatives of the European Union states have agreed on a new, eighth package of sanctions against Moscow. The new sanctions have become the response of the European Union to the annexation of Ukrainian territories by Russia. The new sanctions are expected to enter into force on October 6.
