The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the return of the city of Lachin, Berdzor, and Sus to Azerbaijan. The report states that Turkey is satisfied with its return.
"We express our satisfaction that the city of Lachin, the villages of Berdzor and Sus were returned to Azerbaijan today, within the framework of the ongoing process according to the announcement of November 10, 2020.
We hope that this critical step towards restoring peace and stability in the South Caucasus will contribute to the settlement of the situation in the region and Azerbaijani-Armenian relations.
"Turkey has continued and will continue to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of brotherly Azerbaijan," said the message of the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
