Putin underestimated Ukrainians and NATO. Stoltenberg

Russian President Vladimir Putin made a strategic mistake by underestimating the courage of Ukrainians and the support of allies to Ukraine. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this on Wednesday.

"Putin made several significant and strategic mistakes when he invaded Ukraine. One of those mistakes was that he underestimated the Ukrainians, their courage, dedication to fight for their country and defend it," said the head of the alliance after the meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in London.

Stoltenberg also commented on the decision to withdraw Russian troops from Kherson. According to him, it is still premature to draw final conclusions, because "what is actually happening on the ground remains unknown."
