Radar Interview

"Society is in a state of shock, vulnerable and unpredictable." Armen Soghoyan (VIDEO)

The guest of Radar Armenia's "Radar Chat" program is the president of the "Armenian Psychiatric Association," Armen Soghoyan.

He referred to the impact of existing challenges on society, the psychological situation of society before and after independence, and also talked about how escalations affect people and whether society has the opportunity to self-organize.

According to Soghosyan, the driving force of society is, in principle, a small part. "After independence, a contradiction arose in the relations between people and the state, and today, there is no sense of security in the world. Society today is highly vulnerable and unpredictable.

According to him, creating a rejection movement is not so difficult. "It should be clear whether you are a politician, a businessman, or an intellectual. You don't need to change if you don't have a mechanism to counterbalance the leader."

Referring to the security issues that severely impact society's psychology, Soghoyan notes that such a problem has always existed. Still, there was a belief that the army was strong, that the Russian Federation was an ally, and that we were protected. "However, in 2020, they brought to our attention that, as we imagined, the Russian Federation is not our friend.

It is not harmful to sanctify the army if you strive to make it so.

Society is in a state of shock. He cannot organize himself."
