Radar Interview

"Our church is a rather problematic structure." Vilen Gabrielyan (VIDEO)

The guest of Radar Armenia's "Radar Chat" program is Vilen Gabrielyan, deputy of the "Civil Contract" faction of the National Assembly.

He referred to the processes taking place in Tavush, discussed Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and the relations between the Church and the government, and countered the opposition's criticisms.

According to Gabrielyan, the border liberation process is integral to the peace agreement. "I don't think the border demarcation process is a victory for one side or the other. This process somewhat reduces the risk of escalation. The process of differentiation also stems from the November 9 document. Serzh Sargsyan knows well that the worst negotiation is better than war. Serzh Sargsyan has started to get to know our public well, but currently, there is no widespread public demand for a change of power in RA. The alliances led by Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan have no possibility of power change."

Regarding the relationship between the church and the government, Gabrielyan said our church is a somewhat problematic structure. "The actors representing the church are quite problematic."
