"The indefinite mission of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh should be ensured." Araik Harutyunyan

The delegation meeting headed by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, with the representatives of the French-Armenian community, took place in Paris, organized by the Coordinating Council of French-Armenian Associations (CCAF). The coordinators of the Council, the French-Armenian public figure Ara Toranyan, and ARF Bureau member Murad Papazyan gave a welcome speech.

In turn, the head of the country presented to the participants of the meeting the numerous socio-economic programs in the Republic aimed at solving the strategic infrastructural problems of people forcibly displaced as a result of the war and creating sufficient conditions for the everyday life of the population.

The President emphasized the importance of pan-Armenian unity, increasing the degree of involvement of every Armenian and using the potential to face the existing challenges, successfully carry out the work being done, and overcome the crisis created after the war.

"Everyone, wherever he is, should contribute to the development and strengthening of the Motherland within the limits of his knowledge, experience, abilities, abilities, and skills. This is the only way to strengthen Armenian statehood and preserve our national identity in the modern, changing world. We have no alternative," Araik Harutyunyan said.

At the same time, President Harutyunyan noted that the Armenian community of France has always stood by Artsakh and even today helps to recover from the severe wounds of the war and become a viable country, always remaining Armenian. President Harutyunyan expressed confidence that the French-Armenians would continue their patriotic activities and contribute to the deepening of practical ties between Artsakh and France.

During the meeting, Araik Harutyunyan also answered the questions of the attendees. In response to the question related to security, the President noted that the Artsakh authorities have repeatedly stated that until the final settlement of the conflict, it is necessary to ensure the indefinite mission of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh as a guarantor of the security of the people of Artsakh, working in parallel with this to ensure additional international guarantees.

RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France Hasmik Tolmajyan, representatives of the French legislative body, also took part in the meeting.
