Ukraine is going to receive 5 ships from NATO

Mine danger continues to be one of the main threats in the Black Sea. Dmitriy Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the telethon.

He also noted that mines are a common problem in Ukraine and its Black Sea neighbors, mainly three NATO members: Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey. According to Pletenchuk, the Ukrainian crews have already completed training. "Three more ships will be transferred from the Netherlands and Belgium. Those crews are already continuing to train. We plan to receive five mine-laying ships," Pletenchuk said.
