Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry press secretary Ayhan Hajizade responded to the statements made by French Prime Minister Gabriel Atal during the meeting with the Armenian community. It should be noted that Atal said that he demanded that Azerbaijan withdraw its forces from the occupied positions of Armenia, assessing that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, himself, admits that the Azerbaijani forces have advanced in several points of the territory of Armenia.
Hajizadeh said that the Azerbaijani side strongly condemns the baseless claims made by French Prime Minister Gabriel Atal at the annual event of the coordinating council of Armenian organizations in France and calls on them not to interfere in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan.
