Ukraine asks Allies for military instructors

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, stated that Kyiv asks its European allies not to bring troops into the territory of Ukraine but to send military instructors there.

"We did not ask for troops," he assured in an interview with the Spanish newspaper "El País." "We have our defense forces; we have enough troops. We suggest to our European partners to send instructors to the territory of Ukraine, as this would facilitate logistics and communication," added the Prime Minister. He also noted that Kyiv is asking its allies to send long- and medium-range missiles to it. "We have given guarantees that we will not use these missiles to hit Russian territory," Shmyhal said.
