According to Iranian state television, the tremors were registered on Wednesday at 03:51 local time. The epicenter of the 5.4-magnitude earthquake was located in the region of Khvoy, Iran.
The hearth was located at a depth of 10 km. The tremors were also felt in neighboring cities and countries. About 200 buildings were damaged.
