At the meeting with foreign diplomats and journalists in Vardenis, Gegharkunik Region Governor Karen Sargsyan announced that The Sotk mine did not work during the last large-scale aggression of Azerbaijan, and now it is working at 40 percent.
According to him, mine operations were stopped during military operations. Then the mine did not work for another three days.
"As of now, the mine is working, but with 40 percent capacity. The safety of the employees is ensured," said the governor, adding that they are afraid that the Azerbaijanis will target the mine as well.
