On April 23, RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan received the delegation led by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, head of the France-Armenia friendship group of the French Senate.
The extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of France to Armenia, Olivier Decotigny, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to Armenia-France relations, notably defense cooperation, were discussed.
Several issues related to regional security and large-scale reforms in the RA armed forces were also discussed.
