The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the deepening of cooperation with France

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received Brice Roquefo, Head of the Continental Europe Department of the French Foreign Ministry, and OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair. The French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Olivier Decotigny, the Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to France, Hasmik Tolmajyan, and Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Christine Ghalechyan, were also present at the meeting.

Welcoming the visit of the Co-Chair to Armenia, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the deepening of economic cooperation with France from the point of view of both the continuous strengthening of bilateral relations and the increase of Armenia's resilience.

The interlocutors exchanged ideas on projects aimed at developing road, irrigation, and energy substructures. They specifically referenced the details of the planned cooperation within the framework of the Sisian-Kajaran road section of the North-South investment project.

The parties also referred to the current work of the loan programs implemented in cooperation with the French Development Agency, particularly the construction of the Vedu reservoir and the irrigation system.

At the end of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their willingness to continue making efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
