On April 18, Hayk Konjoryan, head of the National Assembly "Civil Agreement" faction, received the delegation led by Chen Zhu, deputy minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Vagharshak Hakobyan, Deputy Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration, and Deputy Alkhas Ghazaryan also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized the centuries-old warm and friendly relations between the two countries, which have been developing regularly, especially recently.

The interlocutors emphasized the strengthening of inter-party and inter-parliamentary relations and the deepening and rapprochement of cooperation in various trade-economic, educational, and cultural spheres.

Mutual visits and contacts at the inter-party level were emphasized on both sides.

"Friendly and warm relations between Armenia and China have a history of centuries. I am convinced that we have a huge amount of unused potential, and we can claim much more and achieve much greater results in economic and political dialogue and cultural cooperation," Hayk Konjoryan said in particular.

The head of the group presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project initiated by Armenia to the Chinese guests, noting its strategic importance for the entire region.

At the end of the meeting, Chen Zhu, Deputy Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized the deepening and expansion of multilateral cooperation in various dimensions.
