"The Brussels meeting was unprecedented both in terms of format and significance." Prime Minister (VIDEO)

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to the RA-US-EU meeting in Brussels on April 5. According to him, that meeting never had a security context or agenda. "Agree, and it's obvious: the EU and the USA would never have agreed to provide economic and political support to Armenia if they considered our policy aggressive," he said. Pashinyan also detailed the political context of April 5. "All efforts to present RA as a state pursuing an aggressive policy are in danger of disappearing. And the meeting itself, which was socio-economic and political in its agenda and nature, was unprecedented in terms of format and significance."

According to Pashinyan, the EU and the USA welcomed and supported the "crossroads of peace" project. According to the Prime Minister, that meeting marked a new level of relations between Armenia and the USA and between Armenia and the EU.

"It is important to emphasize what the Brussels high-level meeting on April 5 is not about. It is not that the EU and the USA will come and solve our problems. I consider it important to raise this."

Pashinyan also emphasized that the development of relations with the USA and the EU is not opposed to regional relations.
