"We hope to receive a positive response to our 8th edition of the peace treaty." Prime Minister (VIDEO)

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred to Azerbaijan's aggressive policy towards Armenia. According to him, according to Azerbaijan's assumptions, RA should not have an army capable of defending its own country. "Having a combative army is the sovereign right of every country. On the other hand, provoking an arms race in the region cannot lead to good results. But the reality is that we want to avoid entering into an arms race with Azerbaijan. If Azerbaijan does not think so, we have a proposal for this case: to create a mechanism of mutual control of weapons to implement a mirror withdrawal of troops from the borderline, which will solve the issues of the four villages raised by Azerbaijan and our 31 villages. "Demilitarize the border areas and hand over the protection of the entire border to the border guard troops, taking the units of the Ministry of Defense back to their permanent locations," he said.

According to Pashinyan, Azerbaijan still needs to answer these proposals. "We hope to receive a positive response to our 8th edition of the peace treaty, which was transferred to Azerbaijan on March 14."
