The US Geological Service reports that on Wednesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 was recorded near the coast of the US state of California. According to the service, the earthquake's epicenter was located at 1194.7 km, northwest of the city of Pacific Grove, which has a population of about 15 thousand.
There are no reports of casualties or damage.
