NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between Turkey and Sweden. He said he would soon leave for Turkey and meet President Recep, Tayyip Erdogan.
Regarding the issue of Sweden and Finland's membership in NATO, Stoltenberg said: "I welcome Sweden and Turkey for their work on the implementation of the joint memorandum."
Stoltenberg expressed confidence that the parliaments of all NATO countries would approve the entry of Finland and Sweden into the North Atlantic Alliance.
