"There is no need for third countries for meetings." Cavusoglu

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced on Monday that Ankara is ready for dialogue with Armenia on any platform and is sincere in normalizing relations with it.

"We are ready for negotiations with Armenia on any platform; we don't see things that will hinder the dialogue," the Turkish minister said at the press conference held in Istanbul after the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States. The TRT TV channel carried out the broadcast.

Çavuşoğlu confirmed that the special representatives of the two countries on issues of relations regulation will, from now on, hold meetings not in the territory of third countries, as before, but in Turkey or Armenia. "The special representatives will agree on where and when they will meet. There is no need for third countries."
