Armen Galjian, head of the "My Step" faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders, wrote on his Facebook page.
"Dear citizens of Yerevan, despite many suspicions and baseless accusations, from abuse of administrative resources to electoral fraud, the elections of the Yerevan Council of Elders were held in a free and fair atmosphere. All political forces were kept from forming a single majority in the Yerevan Council of Elders.
The future of Yerevan and Armenia will also depend on the decisions made by the political forces that have overcome the temporary threshold.
Thank you for every vote in our favor and for participating in the elections."
