We have worked hard for a year, Tigran Avinyan, deputy mayor of Yerevan, said at the meeting with Arabkir residents.
"During this time, the people who said that you are campaigning, started a campaign, they themselves started the anti-propaganda. During this huge work, they found a hair in the ocean and no one said: live, you have planted 35 ha of forest, and we are going to restore another 300 ha of forested area.
There was a point when we realized that we have the ability to take responsibility and enough will, and from that point, a different logic began in the city of Yerevan, the reconstruction of parks became one of the most important projects and the improvement of those parks began from Mergelyan's park itself," the deputy mayor noted.
