"Georgia and Azerbaijan are combining various projects that are important for our countries and the whole world. These are oil and gas, transport, and communication projects. These are projects of enormous importance that create the transport map of the South Caucasus and Eurasia," Aliyev said at a joint press conference with the Georgian President.
According to Aliyev, discussing Europe's energy security without Georgia is impossible.
"Today, if we talk about Europe's energy security, it is impossible to imagine it without Georgia. Azerbaijan supplies its oil and gas to 12 countries through the territory of Georgia. In transport communications, we have port and road infrastructure projects. This is an integral part of our projects. The Middle Corridor passes through Azerbaijan and Georgia, and the volume of cargo passing through the territory of our countries is increasing," Aliyev noted.
