Sweden to deliver Archer self-propelled howitzers and Arthur radars to Ukraine

The Swedish government has announced its 18th military aid package worth 3 billion Swedish kronor ($295 million) to Ukraine.

It includes the purchase of 18 Archer self-propelled howitzers and five Arthur radars. The country will also invest in Ukrainian defense production, particularly the Bogdana self-propelled howitzer. In addition, Sweden will join the “artillery coalition.”

“Ukraine urgently needs artillery and artillery ammunition. This has been a priority for Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion,” said Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson.
