Azerbaijani MFA spokesman Ayhan Hajizade called on the European Union not to criticize Azerbaijan's elections.
"Peter Stano's subjective and biased statements regarding the elections held in Azerbaijan, which repeat the negative conclusions of the OSCE ODIHR, are not legal. The elections in Azerbaijan were held in full compliance with the country's constitution and laws. We call on the EU officials to realize the impossibility of interfering in the internal affairs of Azerbaijan and to focus on the internal problems of the member states," he said.
