The USA imposed visa sanctions on dozens of Georgian citizens

US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller announced at a briefing that the US has imposed visa sanctions on dozens of Georgian citizens, including officials and their family members.

The reason is the "foreign influence transparency" law. The sanctions will apply to members of the "Georgian Dream" faction of the parliament, law enforcement officers, and private individuals. We are talking about two to three dozen people Washington will not notify about the decision, but they are prohibited from entering US territory.
