The Israeli authorities intend to hold talks with the Palestinian radical movement Hamas, but only without a cessation of hostilities. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant stated this during a tour of the Gaza Strip from an F-16 fighter jet.
"Strikes and columns of smoke from the attacks of the Israeli armed forces are visible both in Gaza and in the north. We are in the process of destroying the enemy and will continue to do so. Any negotiations with the terrorist organization Hamas will take place only under fire," he added.
