The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia referred to the issue of the transportation of weapons through the territory of Georgia to Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Darchiashvili, in particular, announced "Any country has the right to have means of defense, and when it comes to conventional equipment or weapons permitted by international treaties, any country has the right to acquire them. Georgia's position is to allow both countries (Armenia and Azerbaijan) to use the transit function."
