"Tinkoff" Bank advises its employees who have left Russia and work remotely to go to Armenia, Kazakhstan, or Belarus, as this does not exclude restrictions on remote access to the company's data in the future.
Three sources close to the bank said that "Tinkoff Bank" advises employees leaving Russia to choose three countries for residence: Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
According to one of them, immediately after the announcement of partial mobilization at the end of September, during the next online meeting of the bank, the top managers proposed to transfer three countries to Armenia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan.
"It was verbally said that from December, access to sensitive data will be stopped everywhere, and it will be only from the bank offices of these countries and Russia. But you can work remotely in countries with an office," he says.
Two other members of the group are aware of the oral offer. "We were simply offered to transfer TCR (Tinkoff work center) countries so there would be technical support if anything happened."
