Rubinyan-Kilch's next meeting is in Turkey. Sabah

The Turkish "Sabah" newspaper, referring to its diplomatic sources, referred to the current situation of Armenian-Turkish relations and the settlement process. According to the newspaper's sources, "if a peace agreement is signed, the situation will have a multifold impact on the entire region." It is noted that when the Armenian-Turkish border was closed in 1993, the border capacity was 40,000 tons of goods and 140,000 people. If the edge opens now, those numbers will increase at least tenfold. The newspaper also reported that the committee of experts on the Armenian-Turkish settlement process would meet soon to move forward along the path outlined by the representatives of Armenia and Turkey, Serdar Kılıç and Ruben Rubinyan. According to the newspaper, it is expected that the special representatives' next meeting will occur in Turkey.

Opening of the region

Emphasizing that the regional processes should be considered as a whole, the newspaper's sources noted. "A pause in one causes fluctuations in the other; an opening in one causes an opening in the other." Explaining that the process raised a lot of noise among Armenians, the sources noted that "when they started talking about citizens of third countries crossing the border, people repaired the destroyed houses, built a boutique, a hotel, and opened a restaurant." The settlement of relations between Turkey and Armenia will be an event that will pave the way for peace in the entire region."
