Toivo Klaar, the European Union's special representative for the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, wrote on his Twitter microblog; "Today, the team of EU observers arrived in Yerevan. The 27 EU member states responded quickly to respond to the request. The purpose of the EU deployment will be to control the situation and support the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process on the ground."
