Ankara hopes that the meeting between the presidents of Turkey and Russia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin, will take place in Astana on October 12.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, did not rule out the possibility of a meeting between Putin and Erdogan in Astana within the framework of a consultation on measures of cooperation and confidence in Asia.
