Aliyev proposed the creation of a new Azerbaijan-Georgia-Armenia platform.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev proposes to create a tripartite platform with the participation of Baku, Yerevan, and Tbilisi to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

He announced the initiative while speaking at the round table on "Peace and security on the European continent" held within the framework of the summit of the European political community in Prague.

Aliyev noted the importance of creating a common platform of Azerbaijan-Georgia-Armenia in the format of the triumvirate to ensure peace and stability in the South Caucasus. He said that energy, communication, and other issues of mutual interest could be discussed here.

The President of Azerbaijan also emphasized that he supports the process of normalization of relations between Yerevan and Ankara. In his opinion, this is another factor that can ensure peace and security in the region.
