Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu commented on the latest stage of border tension between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Ankara on Wednesday and said, "Long-term peace in the South Caucasus is possible only in the case of Yerevan's sincere approach to cooperation and stability in the region." According to him, the recent Armenian-Azerbaijani clashes show the fragility of stability in the region.
Cavusoglu noted, "Yerevan has ignored Baku's peaceful initiatives for a long time."
