"The future of Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, and the Western Balkans is in the EU." President of the European Commission

In her annual political speech on Wednesday, the head of the executive power of the 27-nation bloc announced; "The European Union is not complete without Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and the Western Balkan countries,"

"You are a part of our family, the future of our Union," European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said to the EU's eastern neighbors, adding: "Our union is not complete without you."
