The EU hopes that a decision on renewing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Iran's nuclear program could be taken as early as this week. The Spanish newspaper El País expressed a corresponding opinion.
According to his information, Tehran's response to Brussels' latest proposal was reasonable. However, we still have to wait for the positions of the USA and Great Britain. The EU is also optimistic about the issue of deadlines. The deal can be implemented on Friday, the newspaper writes. In its opinion, the time is favorable for reaching an agreement, considering the elections to be held in the USA in the fall.
