"The Armenian side regularly resorted to armed provocation, as a result of which one soldier was killed. We immediately carried out the "Retaliation" operation, taking revenge for our soldier, and severely punishing the opposite side. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated this today, referring to the recent military conflict in Artsakh.
"We can carry out any action on our land at any time. "The effectiveness and short-term nature of the Retaliation operation show that we have the strength, at the same time, we do not want a new war," Aliyev added.
