Radar Interview

"I saw the result of my fear and silence in the form of many victims, and today I have no right to remain silent." Ruben Babayan (VIDEO)

Director Ruben Babayan is the guest of the "Radar Chat" program at the Radar Armenia booth. He referred to the past, talked about the present, the situation in Artsakh, the role and tasks of society, and intellectuals.

Speaking about the past and, in this context, the situation in Artsakh, Babayan notes that they do not bring the president of an independent state and appoint a prime minister, and they do not enter into negotiations with an independent state instead, "Of course, Artsakh should negotiate, but it is not ready. Not only did we deprive Artsakh of its independence, but we also deprived ourselves. In the 21st century, we continued to perceive the Fidayan movement as an ideal. We decided that patriotism can replace professionalism."

In his opinion, even the creators of this country do not want to live in this country, and when talking about intellectuals, he noticed that the political forces have an approach: Stand by me. If you stop, you are an intellectual; if not, you are a traitor, "I saw the result of my dose of fear and silence in the form of many victims, and today I have no right to remain silent."
