"Hraparak" newspaper writes: "Businessman Ruben Vardanyan, who renounced his Russian citizenship and moved to Artsakh and recently accepted the offer of the President of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan to work as a state minister, has been having intensive meetings with various political and social circles in recent days.
He holds separate meetings, visits the sectoral officials of the government - ministers, and meets with the management staff of the ministries. Our sources in Artsakh believe that Vardanyan is examining the government members to understand who he will work with and who he will "cut" and change. And that there will be changes, that's for sure. It is already known that Vardanyan will be appointed as the state minister on November 4.
According to some reports, the future minister of state also met with Tigran Petrosyan, a representative of the Artsakh NGO sector, who has been carrying out round-the-clock protests in front of the presidential office, demanding the resignation of some officials. Arman Hakobjanyan, the chairman of the board of directors of "Kapavor" SP company, the son of the former minister of urban development of Artsakh, who is close to businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan and carries out the lion's share of constructions in Artsakh, was also present at the meeting.
It was due to this meeting that the protests stopped. They also say that Vardanyan promised to appoint Petrosyan as his adviser and implement personnel changes to fulfill their demands.
