"Hraparak" newspaper writes: "On the fact of the missing lion statuette and anniversary commemorative medals from the National Assembly, an official investigation was conducted in the parliament months ago. To whom the commemorative medals and the statuette are dedicated, the NA only said, because the commemorative medals are those received before 2018, and the NA Museum was established in 2018. Until then, all the commemorative medals were in different vaults, and the genealogy of many - to whom they were addressed is unknown.
The official investigation was announced by the head of the National Assembly's staff against the management of the museum and its department, but the "thief" was never found, and they had to turn to the police. About a year ago, the museum's expansion-renovation works were started, the museum samples were regularly moved from place to place, and during the next transfer, the absence of four pieces was discovered.
It is unclear how the souvenirs were taken out of the parliament building under the tight security regime. It can only be assumed that the NA security bodies were instructed to examine only journalists and oppositionists strictly."
