UN Secretary-General António Guterres has warned of the threat of a large-scale deterioration of women's and girls' rights in many regions of the world.
"The prospect of equality between women and men is getting further and further away," she said on March 6 at the opening of the 67th annual two-week session of the Commission on the Status of Women at UN headquarters.
