New enlightenment: In this regard, Yerevan is considered one of the most progressive cities in the region
In 2025, Yerevan Municipality implemented several projects at "Yerqaghluys" CJSC.
This year, the replacement of sodium lamps with new, energy-saving and efficient LED lamps was completed. In this regard, Yerevan is considered one of the leading cities in the region.
- 12,021 energy-saving LED luminaires were replaced on 82 streets,
- Around 35 parks, courtyards, culturally protected areas, and community infrastructures were illuminated,
- All Yerevan statues were illuminated,
- 54 km of overhead cable network was replaced entirely,
- 276 power cabinets were replaced,
- 190 digital control modules were installed in the outdoor lighting network,
- Around 29 km of new network was built,
- Within the framework of the program for creating underground communications of the Yerevan city's overhead communication and power transmission network, works continue on Abovyan and Nalbandyan streets. The cables are being laid underground.
