The tripartite agreement, signed by the mayors of Yerevan and Lyon, as well as the president of the Lyon metropolitan area, envisions the comprehensive development of 5 fundamental areas: landscaping and urban development, education and youth, healthcare, culture and sports, and sustainable tourism. The Yerevan Municipality reports this.
“Within the framework of the cooperation, Armenian and French students have joined forces in the field of urban development and landscaping. As a result of joint work, the students will apply their successful urban development experience in Yerevan districts. It also creates a unique connection between the students and lecturers of the Lyon High School of Architecture and the Armenian University of Architecture and Construction,” the statement says.
